ProWeb - Creating Subcontract Views

To allow customers who have subcontracted work to you (i.e. on another customers behalf) to see that customers work, ProWeb allows the user to create users who can view other customers work.

For example, Company B has sold a tester to Company C, but sent to Company A (the company with the ProWeb installation/portal) for calibration.

Company B wishes to view not only their own calibrations, but also the calibrations that have been performed for Company C by Company A

In the ProWeb desktop utility, navigate to 'Configure Companies' in the top board

Select the Company that you wish to be able to view subcontracted work (In this example, Transmille Calibration USA is our Company B), and then click 'Enable Sub Contract View'

In the next window that shows up, you will see a list of all work that Company B has been the 'Returned By' customer in ProCal-Track,

To add the company, select the company from the list and then click 'Enable Third Party Subcontract View'



On the next upload, the selected customers data (Company C) will be uploaded to Company A's portal, and will be able to be viewed by Customer B via the 'View Subcontracted Work' menu in the Portal
