Deleting a standard from ProSet (prior to V6.8)

From time to time it may be necessary to remove a standard from ProSet as it is no longer in use.

To remove the standard, there are two options : 

1) Setting the instrument description to ** NONE ** and removing traceability instrument.

2) Deleting the line from the database.

Please note that only the last instrument in the traceability list can be deleted for integrity reasons (if the order of standards is changed this can cause issues with procedures if they call for the value of this standard.

    Step 1. Open ProSet, Log In and navigate to 'Edit Instrument Traceability'.

    Step 2. Select the LAST instrument in the traceability list.

    Step 3. Press the 'Delete Instrument' icon at the top of the screen. This will delete the currently selected Instrument.
