Configuring Users As Signatories

Modified on Thu, 24 Oct at 3:36 PM

The ProCal Certificate Approval App uses a new system for marking users as signatories. Any signatories set in ProSet for the older system will not be used by this system.

To set users as electronic signatories:

  • Open the "ProCal User Editor" app, found in C:\ProCal\Programs
  • Log in with an administrator user
  • CSelect the user to be set as a signatory, and click "Edit User"
  • Check either or both of the Traceable Signatory and/or the Accredited Signatory boxes as appropriate. Then, enter the signatory name as it should appear on the certificate. When complete, click "Save Changes"
  • The user has now been configured as a signatory, and will be allowed to log in and view certificates in the Certificate Approval App, as per configuration
    • A user set only to "Traceable Signatory" will not be able to see accredited calibrations in the approval app
    • A user set only to "Accredited Signatory" will not be able to see traceable calibrations in the approval app
  • Repeat this process for all users that need to be configured as signatories
    • There is no limit on the number of signatories that can be used with this system
    • The signatory's signature will appear on certificates is the template has been configured with an image file for their signature. Transmille can assist in ensuring that this is in place.
